About Lucas Marks:

Lucas Marks first began writing songs after a silent meditation retreat.

Lyrics and music simply began to flow up from within, in a regular stream.

He honed his craft playing to local audiences in pubs, enjoying playing to people "in the moment".

Music for Marks is all about the moment.

The way lyrics flow after barren times,

The way a song first comes into being as an idea,

A voice or a melody.

His songs are there to be played, to be thrashed out, to seduce, to provoke, to testify...

Our influences include: "Mumford And Son", "The Old Crow Medicine Show",

"The Clash", "Woody Guthrie", "Bob Dylan","David Gray", "The Lumineers", "Noah and the Whale"

"The Band", "The Earls Of Leicester", "The Dead South","Sam Kelly"
